What make these Garlic Potatoes special?
These potatoes can be made to be gluten-free and you can use whatever oil you prefer, so these can suit a variety of dietary restrictions. These potatoes also taste fantastic. One of the ingredients that really take these up a notch is nutritional yeast.
What is nutritional yeast?
Nutritional Yeast is a powerhouse when it comes to vegan cooking. It is a deactivated yeast that not only is packed with vitamins and proteins, provides almost a cheesy flavor to foods. This is why it's used in vegan cheeses and savory dishes so often. It can be a great way to add flavor without adding excess salt or fat to a dish.
What type of blender do you need for the garlic coating?
This coating is pretty easy on blenders. You should be fine with any blender. If you are looking into getting a new blender, we have a great rundown of all the top blender brands, which you can check out here: Top Blenders for 2021.
